| This is to confirm that my husband, two kids and elderly parents and I have been holidaying at Bateau Bay for over 18 years. During this time we have stayed in a range of holiday rentals. About 4 years ago we were delighted to discover Gwen Harrigan and her beautiful holiday rental in Reserve Drive. We have made many return visits and look forward to our stay at Gwen's. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and welcoming. The house is very well appointed with all necessary appliances. The kitchen has everything you need. The rooms are very clean and furnishings updated regularly. The interiors, linen, soft furnishings and bedding are warm and very tasteful. We love the bathroom and its proximity to the backyard. It is very light airy and provides a relaxing ambiance plus it received an elegant makeover in 2010. The bedrooms are very comfortable and always clean and fresh. We love the "Balinese" touches and atmosphere. The art work is very interesting and provides another dimension to a very pretty setting. A big plus factor is the landscaping, front and back, and the swimming pool. The front deck is very private and quiet with stunning views over the national park and views over the ocean. The trees are just beautiful. Our favourite afternoon spot is around the pool. The decking is very comfortable and plenty of comfortable poolside chairs. It is the best place to relax and unwind. The proximity to the national park and beach is also a big plus. It is so comfortable at Gwen's we don't both to go out and eat - we just cook and sit around, relax and enjoy the scenery. Another big plus factor is Gwen's friendless, generosity and willingness to provide what every you need at any time. She is also very flexible in terms of arrival and departure times.
